The case tapers directly into a five-link bracelet with no lugs, which is what produces the shape people recognise. The bezel is thin and polished, the dial sunburst, and the colour range unusually adventurous for Citizen — the green and orange references are the ones that sell.

The Miyota 8210 runs at 21,600 vph with 21 jewels and 40 hours of reserve. It hacks but does not hand-wind, and Miyota publishes -20 to +40 seconds per day. The unidirectional rotor is audible when the watch moves, which is characteristic of the 8-series.

Brushed top surfaces with polished chamfers, a push-pull crown and a sapphire crystal. The 50 m rating reflects the crown type and is the specification most likely to limit how the watch is used.

Applied polished indices over a sunburst base, with a date at three. It is the most visually confident dial Citizen makes at this price, and the reason the watch is cross-shopped against models costing twice as much.

Integrated, so there is no strap option — what you buy is what you wear. The five-link construction is comfortable and tapers well, though the clasp is simple and offers limited micro-adjustment.

At 40 mm across, 11.7 mm tall and 46 mm end to end, the Tsuyosa fits a broader range of wrists than almost anything else here. The integrated bracelet also wraps earlier than a lugged case, which helps on smaller wrists.

Miyota's published window for the 8210 is -20 to +40 seconds per day. That is wider than Orient's F6922 and narrower than Seiko's 4R36, and the absence of hand-winding means a watch left unworn has to be shaken back to life.
