Some links to retailers on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a percentage of the sale.
You pay the same price either way. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
Programmes we participate in
Selection Time is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
We also work, or intend to work, with manufacturer stores and specialist watch retailers. Every monetised link on this site carries rel="sponsored nofollow".
Why we do not show Amazon prices
Amazon's operating agreement does not permit displaying cached prices outside its Product Advertising API. Rather than show a price that may be wrong or a price we are not entitled to publish, our buttons send you to the live listing.
Prices we do show — manufacturer list prices and prices at other retailers — always carry the date they were last checked, and are hidden automatically once that check is more than sixty days old.
What it does not affect
Commission does not influence scores, rankings, recommendations or which watches we cover.
The Selection Score is computed from published criteria, and the method is documented in full on the How We Rate Watches page. We frequently recommend the cheaper of two watches, and we regularly tell readers not to buy something.
