The Marlin Automatic is the most interesting thing Timex makes at this price: a period-correct dress case with an automatic movement and an acrylic crystal for around $250. What Timex does not offer is specification depth — published accuracy figures, sapphire crystals and meaningful water resistance are largely absent. It is a brand bought for character, and it is honest about that.
