Design
Identical case and dial architecture to the hand-wound reference, with a date window added at three. Whether that improves or spoils the dial is the main aesthetic question between the two.
Movement
Hamilton publishes the H-10 as an automatic with an 80-hour power reserve and does not publish a base caliber for it. It hacks, hand-winds and self-winds, and it drives the date at three.
Build Quality
The same brushed steel case and sapphire crystal, upgraded to 100 m of water resistance. The additional depth rating makes this the more practical of the two for everyday wear.
Dial
Matte, painted Arabic numerals with luminous fill and an inner 24-hour track, plus a date aperture. Legibility is unchanged from the hand-wound version.
Bracelet & Strap
Brown cow leather on 20 mm lugs, closed with a traditional pin buckle. Hamilton lists the strap as its own reference, H6007041041, so it can be replaced with the original part rather than a generic substitute.
Comfort & Wearability
11 mm of height on a 38 mm case, on leather — still among the most comfortable watches here, if slightly less featherweight than the H-50 version. The 47 mm lug-to-lug span is unchanged.
Accuracy
Hamilton does not publish a rate specification for the H-10. The 80-hour reserve is the movement's practical headline.
