44.7 mm span in a 37.4 mm case — the shortest automatic here, and Seiko moved the crown to four o'clock so nothing digs in. The offsetting figures are 12.5 mm of height and 125 g.

Best integrated bracelet
46 mm span, 11.7 mm tall, and the bracelet begins wrapping at the case — the thinner automatic of the two, on a wrist that can take the extra millimetre of span.

Lug-to-lug is the length of the watch from one lug tip to the other. It determines whether the case sits within the flat top of your wrist or overhangs the edges. A 45 mm watch with short lugs can fit better than a 38 mm watch with long ones.
As a working rule, up to about 46 mm sits comfortably, 46–48 mm is wearable, and beyond 48 mm the lugs will start to overhang.
